The mug is obviously very convenient as it allows you to keep your drink cold whilst keeping your hands warm whilst keeping your hands and legs warm as well.

Inside the heating cup is where the coffee and the water are mixed. When you hold the mug in your hand, you can feel the heat rise from the melting coffee to the warm sparser. The sparser on the other hand provides a warming sensation to your hands, feet and face so there really is nothing better than this type of mug for a hot afternoon outside at a park or at home when you are waiting for something to boil over.

As well as both of these parts, the mug also has an adjustable lid that can be removed very easily and is very easy to use. One of the nice aspects of the design is that it is made from either a polyethylene plastic or a vacuum insulated material (paper). The vacuum insulation allows the coffee and the water to remain hot without the temperature increasing. However, because of the vacuum insulation, you do have to constantly re-inflate the mug because if you leave it flat, it will still lose heat relatively quickly. Overall, I think that this mug is pretty good value for money.

We recently tested four different mugs including the Amazon Kindle Travel Necked Travel Mug, the Black and Decker Cuisinart Warm and Cold Mug, the Keurig K-Cup Travel Mug, the Cuisinart Envirex Travel Mug and the KitchenAid Plating Brew Power Mugs. We looked at things like; how easy is it to clean? is it dishwasher safe? and did we like the colours?

The Amazon Kindle Travel Necked Travel Mug was the winner for us with its simple cleaning. It was easy to remove the contact paper and also had an insulated lid which prevented the water from the coffee from warming up too much. The next best was the black and Decker Cuisinart Warm and Cold Mug which came out a little bit cold but not by much. Although the kettle did loose a few cold sips, it performed well when we poured out the coffee that way.

The final candidate for the winning mug is the Keurig K-Cup Travel Mug which came out a little cold but then again, didn't by much. But, it kept the coffee hot, which was very important to us. And the kitchenaid platinum brewware did a fine job keeping the coffee hot for a decent period of time. And we liked the colours of all of these mugs - especially the amazon red! The final pick for this round goes to the Amazon red cup warmer, which has the best combination of features and price.
